Teacher candidates must possess the following:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Current State of Florida Statement of Eligibility or State of Florida Teacher’s Certificate
- Teacher Assistants
- Before & After Care Teachers and Assistants
After School Teacher candidates must possess the following:
- Background Clearance from Broward County Public Schools
- Preferences will be made to those candidates who have experience working with children
Upon review of submitted documentation, qualified candidates will be called for an interview.
Any person who is hired by Somerset Academy – Davie must be cleared through fingerprinting and background checks conducted by Broward County Public Schools prior to the commencement of employment. The expense of fingerprint/background investigation is the responsibility of the employee candidate.
